Job Manager has the ability to import, export, and delete scripts to and from the database via the Stored Scripts page.
Note: In order to perform the activities described in this section, you must be logged into Job Manager as the Administrator.
Opening the Stored Scripts page
1. Click the Administration tab when logged in to Job Manager as the Administrator user. The Administration Tools page will open.
2. Click the Stored Scripts link in the right hand side Job Manager Customization box of the Administration page. The Stored Scripts page will open.
Importing Scripts into the database
3. Open the Stored Scripts page if it is not already.
4. Click Choose File ( ). A file system browser window will open. The look and feel of the file system browser window will differ according to your operating system.
5. Browse to and select a script file to upload to the database. Click Choose ( ) when done. The file system browser window will close. The selected script file will be displayed next to the Choose File button in the Stored Scripts page.
6. Click Upload ( ). The script file will be uploaded to the database and will appear in the list of stored scripts in the Stored Scripts page.
Exporting Scripts from the database
7. Open the Stored Scripts page if it is not already.
8. Browse to and click the script file you want to export. The file will be downloaded to your computer using the conventions set in your browser and operating system.
Note: When a script file is exported, it is not removed from the database. Exporting a stored script only exports a copy of the script file.
Deleting Scripts from the database
9. Open the Stored Scripts page if it is not already.
10. Locate the script file you want to delete from the database and click the Delete link for the script. A password confirmation window will open in the current page.
11. Type the password used for the Administrator account and click OK ( ). The password confirmation window will close and the script will be removed from the database. Since it has been removed from the database, it will no longer appear in the list of scripts in the Stored Scripts page.
