Job Manager has the ability to import, export, and delete solutions to and from the database via the Stored Solutions page.
Note: In order to perform the activities described in this section, you must be logged into Job Manager as the Administrator.
Opening the Stored Solutions page
1. Click the Administration tab when logged in to Job Manager as the Administrator user. The Administration Tools page will open.
2. Click the Stored Solutions link in the right hand side Job Manager Customization box of the Administration page. The Stored Solutions page will open.
Importing Solutions into the database
3. Open the Stored Solutions page if it is not already.
4. Click Choose File ( ). A file system browser window will open. The look and feel of the file system browser window will differ according to your operating system.
5. Browse to and select a solution file to upload to the database. Click Choose ( ) when done. The file system browser window will close. The selected solution file will be displayed next to the Choose File button in the Stored Solutions page.
6. Click Upload ( ). The solution file will be uploaded to the database and will appear in the list of stored solutions in the Stored Solutions page.
Exporting Solutions from the database
7. Open the Stored Solutions page if it is not already.
8. Browse to and click the solution file you want to export. The file will be downloaded to your computer using the conventions set in your browser and operating system.
Note: When a solution file is exported, it is not removed from the database. Exporting a stored solution only exports a copy of the solution file.
Deleting Solutions from the database
9. Open the Stored Solutions page if it is not already.
10. Locate the solution file you want to delete from the database and click the Delete link for the solution. A password confirmation window will open in the current page.
11. Type the password used for the Administrator account and click OK ( ). The password confirmation window will close and the solution will be removed from the database. Since it has been removed from the database, it will no longer appear in the list of solutions in the Stored Solutions page.
